Baked Pasta

" Easy to make and perfect for a cold winter evening. "
 
Ingredients
1 lb pasta (shells, elbows or rotini)
1 T. oil
1 onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
1 t. oregano
salt & pepper to taste
2 c grated mozzarella cheese
   
Directions

Preheat oven to 325

Cook on pasta on stove and drain.

Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion and garlic, saute' until tender (about 5
minutes). Add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper, cook until heated
through (about 5 minutes).

Combine cooked pasta, tomatoes and 1 1/2 c. grated cheese in a
casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake for 15 to 20
minutes.

For easier clean up spray the casserole dish with a
non-stick cooking spray.
