It appears that 2004 may well be the year of
the tech toy. Whether they are for your game console, your computer or
even for your television, there are hundreds of different new games
available for the tech savvy child. Just about every toy company or
popular character has some kind of electronic toy.
The release of two popular movies this
past summer, Spider-man 2 and Shrek 2 will also bring out related
character figures and games for dedicated fans.
Our favorite fuzzy red guy, Elmo, is back this year dancing away to
Y.M.C.A. Sure to be a hit with the young set.
Two toys caught my eye this year that
might just be a hit with kids. Aquapets, from Wild Planet is an
interactive "pet" that you can talk to, feed, and of course
play with.
Then there are Stink Blasters from Spin Master. These strange action
figures have a a strange twist. Just squeeze each figure's soft head,
and they blast a funky odor. Kids might love, not sure if all parents
will agree.
If that is just too much for you classic
toys like Barbie, Lego, Cabbage Patch Dolls and G.I.Joe will be
filling store shelves this holiday season as well.
