Background:
A great warm-up for this game is The
Rhyming Game.
What to do:
When you read a book with rhymes to your child, leave out the last word in a
rhyming sentence and ask your child what word he or she thinks would finish the
sentence. Encourage your child to think of a word that rhymes. Then read the
complete original sentence to see how the author finished the rhyme.
